Operational analyses, pixel-perfect documents, financial statements, bulk extracts and enterprise analytics. We help you pick the right Oracle tool for each question, then build it properly.

01 OTBI · BIP

OTBI & BI Publisher

Answer everyday questions, and produce the documents your business runs on.

OTBI gives business users self-service analyses and dashboards over real-time Fusion subject areas. BI Publisher handles everything that needs a precise layout or a schedule, from SQL data models to invoices, remittances and burst distribution. Most organizations need both, and they work best designed together.

Best for

Operational reporting across Financials, Procurement, Projects, SCM and HCM, and any customer-, supplier- or employee-facing document.

What we help with

  • Report rationalization. Inventory existing reports, retire duplicates, and decide what belongs in OTBI versus BIP.
  • OTBI analyses & dashboards. Subject-area analyses, prompts, KPIs and role-based dashboards that people actually use.
  • BIP data models. Efficient SQL data models over Fusion tables and views, with parameters and lists of values.
  • Layouts & templates. RTF, Excel and eText templates for invoices, checks, POs, statements and bank files.
  • Scheduling & bursting. Scheduled processes that split output by supplier, customer or business unit and deliver by email, FTP or content server.
  • Security & performance. Catalog permissions, data-role security, and tuning for long-running reports.

Typical deliverables

  • Report inventory & roadmap
  • OTBI dashboards
  • BIP data models
  • RTF / Excel / eText layouts
  • Bursting & delivery setup
  • Catalog migration between pods
  • Report documentation
02 FRS · SMART VIEW

Financial Reporting Studio & Smart View

Financial statements your finance team can stand behind, and Excel that stays connected.

Financial Reporting Studio builds statements and management reports directly from General Ledger balances, with drill-down to journals. Smart View brings the same balances into Excel for ad hoc analysis and reusable templates. Together they cover formal reporting and the analysis finance does every day.

Best for

Month-end and year-end financial statements, segment and entity reporting, and finance teams who live in Excel.

What we help with

  • Financial statements. Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and trial balance reports built around your chart of accounts.
  • Management reporting. Segment, department, entity and variance reports with consistent formatting across the pack.
  • Report books & batches. Grouped report packs and scheduled batches that distribute the close package automatically.
  • Hierarchies & trees. Account and segment hierarchies aligned so reports roll up the way the business thinks.
  • Smart View templates. Refreshable Excel templates, ad hoc grids and point-of-view setups for analysts.
  • Reconciling the numbers. Tie-outs between FRS, Smart View, OTBI and the GL so every report agrees.

Typical deliverables

  • Financial statement pack
  • Management & variance reports
  • Report books & batch schedules
  • Smart View template library
  • Hierarchy review
  • User guides & training
03 BICC

BI Cloud Connector (BICC)

Get Fusion data out reliably, at volume, on a schedule.

BICC extracts Fusion data in bulk from Oracle’s public view objects and delivers it to Oracle Content Server or OCI Object Storage. It is the supported route for feeding a data warehouse, data lake or downstream system with full and incremental loads.

Best for

Data warehouse and lake feeds, third-party analytics platforms, and integrations that need large, repeatable extracts.

What we help with

  • Data store selection. Map your reporting requirements to the right offerings and view objects, and add custom data stores where needed.
  • Incremental extracts. Design full and incremental loads, including primary-key extracts to detect deletes.
  • Scheduling & monitoring. Extract schedules, failure alerts and run history your team can operate.
  • Downstream pipelines. Land and load extracts into Autonomous Data Warehouse, Snowflake, Azure or other targets.
  • Security. Least-privilege BICC roles and storage configuration that pass an audit.
  • Troubleshooting. Diagnose missing columns, slow extracts and load mismatches.

Typical deliverables

  • Extract design document
  • Configured offerings & data stores
  • Incremental load strategy
  • Schedules & alerts
  • Pipeline into your target
  • Run book

Fusion Data Intelligence

Prebuilt analytics across Fusion, extended for how you run the business.

Fusion Data Intelligence delivers prebuilt analytics for Oracle Fusion ERP, SCM and HCM, with Oracle-managed data pipelines, a shared data model, ready-made KPIs and prebuilt machine learning. We help you activate it, extend it with your own data, and drive adoption.

Best for

  • KPIs & dashboards. Tailor prebuilt KPIs, workbooks and dashboards to your organization’s metrics.
  • Semantic model extensions. Add custom attributes, subject areas and calculations without breaking upgrades.

  • Prebuilt ML. Put ready-made predictions to work, such as collections risk, on-time payment risk and order delays.
  • Security. Data and object security aligned with Fusion roles.
  • Adoption. Training and a rollout plan that moves people off spreadsheets and onto shared KPIs.

Typical deliverables

  • Activation plan
  • Configured functional areas
  • Custom KPIs & workbooks
